The Schools History Project hope you have enjoyed the Schools History Project’s “SHP Understanding for Schools: Framing US History” webinar series.
Many people who attended previous SHP Understanding sessions, and found them valuable, have chosen to make a small contribution of around £2 per attendee to enable us to continue this work in the future. If you feel you have benefitted from these sessions a donation would be much appreciated.
These sessions have been a pilot for our new initiative: “Understanding History for Schools”, which aims to bring contemporary issues in history to young people in the classroom. We have offered these sessions for free to all schools because we firmly believe in assisting every teacher to deliver diverse and inclusive history which helps young people understand the world in which they live.
We have previously operated a voluntary contributions system for SHP Understanding sessions and found this strikes a good balance between making sessions affordable and enabling us to continue this work.
If you have enjoyed these sessions and found them valuable, we would greatly appreciate a voluntary contribution to support the work of SHP and to enable us to develop similar opportunities for young people and teachers in future. A suggested contribution is £2 per student but there is no obligation.
Thank you once again for supporting this work and we hope to see you again in the future.
