York Racecourse, Discounted County Stand entry for Saturday 27 May 2023
Students, staff and alumni at Leeds Trinity University can take advantage of discounted entry for York Races on Saturday 27 May 2023, with access to the County Stand. The race badges usually retail at £52 but you can order them in advance for £36 each through the Alumni Office.
There are no restrictions on the number of badges you can order.
If you would like to attend you can also purchase additional badges for friends and family. On the day - Gates open at 11.15am. The deadline for confirming and paying for your badges is Thursday 18 May 2023 at 12.00 noon. For further information please email [email protected]

The Alumni Office is only providing the discounted race badges for the County Stand, all attendees need to make their own way to York Racecourse.

Dress code advice from York Racecourse

Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket, collared shirt and tie in County Stand. Most gentlemen would chose to wear smart trousers and formal shoes to complete the look. So whilst there is no formal restriction on wearing jeans and trainers, these are rarely seen in the County stand. Ladies are required to dress in a suitable manner, many ladies opt for a hat, although it is not compulsory. Imagine you are going to a smart wedding is our tip.
